CFMR's President and his family have moved!
The Lord has recently called Eric and his family to move to a new location in Oakland, MD. The name of the place is Haley Farm Bed and Breakfast and Retreat Center. Yes, this is the location of our next retreat too. The owners of the Bed and Breakfast have graciously allowed Eric and his family to live at the farm and manage their beautiful Inn. God is so good!

Scripture - Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path".
We have been on a journey this past year that began with a calling on our lives in January 2000 from the Lord to begin a ministry for Him. We were very honored and counted it a privilege to do this work for the Lord. What we didn't know was how everything would unfold. That is when the Lord began showing us what "walking by faith" truly means.

The first step of faith for us was putting our Pasadena home up for sale and visiting Garrett County to "spy out" the land the Lord told us to possess. Miraculously, within one week, we sold our home, Eric found a job and we found a place to live. Upon arrival to Garrett County we were introduced to the opportunity of buying a Bed and Breakfast in Grantsville, MD. We believed God was ordering our steps in making this purchase and were very excited about the opportunity of running a Bed and Breakfast business. However, after months of waiting and praying the decision was made not to go with the plan. We continued acknowledging the Lord and trusting Him that He would lead the way and make our path straight.

Today, we are proud to say "Look what the Lord has done". We have been called to manage a Bed and Breakfast in Oakland, Maryland that is above and beyond any opportunity we could ever have hoped for. The amazing part is that we visited that same Bed and Breakfast two years ago for our 10-year Wedding Anniversary. When we walked through the doors Eric said to the Innkeeper, "How do you get a job like this?" God is so awesome!! We are still amazed at how everything has transpired in our lives up to this point. In His word He tells us, "For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11). God is not a man that He should lie. Believe His Word and no matter what happens continue acknowledging Him and prepare yourself for a great future!
