The Christian Family Mountain Retreat (CFMR) ministry sends this greeting to you and your family this Christmas season and into the New Year!
Three R's for Christmas:
Remember! God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16)!!
Receive! God did not send His Son, Jesus Christ, to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved (John 3:17)!!
Rejoice! Jesus Christ came to earth to reconcile mankind back to God the Father (Ephesians 2:13-18). He desires a personal and intimate relationship with you!!!!

CFMR web page update: The CFMR web page is internet-ready and will soon be available for everyone to view. The web site address is www.cfmr4u.org. Our web page developer, Marcia Bair, is diligently working to get the CFMR web page on the internet. Her goal is to have everything available to you on the internet no later than the week of Christmas. A big "THANKS" to Marcia!
JANUARY 25-27th RETREAT: The "Winter Wonderland" retreat scheduled for January 25th-27th is fully booked, Praise God! Everyone is anticipating a fun-filled weekend. For those of you who made reservations, the fees are as follows:
- Activities: At Alpine Lake Resort (if there's snow on the ground) tubing/sledding is per person $7 all day or $2 per hour; cross country skiing is $16 adult/$13 child all day or $11 adult/$9 child 1/2 day. Equipment is included for all prices! Also, a swimming pool and hot tub are available on the resort property, a nominal fee will apply. At Deep Creek Lake (if necessary) tubing park is a flat $14 per person; ski slope charges are $50 per person all day skiing+equipment.
- Food and Lodging: There will be no charge. Check-in time is Friday, January 25th at 4 p.m. The ministry will be receiving a free-will offering some time during the retreat. Please prayerfully consider giving at that time. Thank you, God will bless you for all you sow into this ministry.
