The Bairs live in Ephrata, PA. Eric and Joan have been married since 1990 thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Since 1996, Eric and Joan have dedicated themselves and their family to the Lord. They are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Brittany Lynn and Brianna Joy and one God-daughter, Gabrielle Christina. Joan has been a stay-at-home mom since December 1997. With much prayer and guidance from the Lord, Eric and Joan decided to home-school their children.

Eric is one of thirteen children. He has 4 sisters and 9 brothers (two have gone home to be with the Lord). Eric's dad went home to be with the Lord in 1997 and his mother Joan, currently resides in Akron, Pa. Joan A. Bair (Eric's wife) is one of six children and is also an identical twin. She has two sisters and three brothers. Her father went home to be with the Lord in 1969. Her mother, Mary, currently resides in Sorrento, Florida.

In 1994, their marriage was on the verge of ending before the Lord miraculously intervened. The healing power of Jesus Christ brought restoration to their marriage relationship and now Eric and Joan are inspired to share their testimony with the world! In December 1999, the Lord began the call for them to establish a marriage/family restoration ministry. In September 2001, the "Christian Family Mountain Retreat" ministry was established and that was the beginning for the CFMR retreats. The ministry has been blessed beyond measure and to God be all of the glory for the great things He has done!
