Happy Easter from the CFMR ministry!

May God fill your hearts with His love as you take the time to celebrate the resurrection of His Son. Thanks be to God for His mercy and love that was shown through the death and resurrection of Jesus. All of us fall short of God's glory and deserve eternal punishment for our sins. But, God showed His love for us by sending Jesus and giving us a "free ticket" to Heaven. Hallelujah!!

2005 Winter Wonderland Retreat Report:
On February 25th, sixteen people gathered together for CFMR's 4th annual Winter Wonderland retreat at the Majestic Lodge, Deep Creek Maryland. The weekend included a day at the Bear Claw Tubing Park and a horse-drawn sleigh ride in the Amish fields of Pleasant Valley. The weekend was a tremendous blessing!

On Sunday, everyone shared a scripture that reminds them of God's thoughts toward each of us. Below we've included some of them to encourage you:

Philippians 1:6 - "That He who began a good work in me will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

Matthew 10:31- "Do not fear therefore, you are of more value than many sparrows."

I Timothy 6:17 - "Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment."

Upcoming CFMR Retreats:

2005 Women's Retreat - The next CFMR Women's Retreat is scheduled for April 15-17, 2005 (two night stay). This retreat will be held at Summit Lake in Cascade, Maryland (near Frederick).
