Featured Article: Building God's Kingdom
Recently Eric and I were discussing the heartbeat of the CFMR ministry and from that conversation this article was birthed. At the present time, the CFMR ministers are standing in faith believing God will provide property for the ministry's future to include a lodge where retreats will be held. Eric and I sense in our hearts that God's plan includes a beautiful lodge for CFMR, but more importantly He is looking at building beautiful people for His Kingdom purposes. Buildings are necessary and nice to have, but many times our ways are not God's ways, therefore, Eric and I realize that for CFMR the focus will remain on ministering to God's people through the quarterly retreats and allowing God to provide the beautiful lodge in His perfect timing. His Word tells us "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it..." (Psalm 127:1).
The most important calling for each of us is to reach out and touch the world with God's love. CFMR's prayer is that all who come in contact with the ministry are touched in a life-changing way. God is working through CFMR in miraculous ways and that gives Eric and me great fulfillment.
In I Corinthians 6:19 we are told, "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?" God lives in you and goes with you everywhere! Big beautiful buildings are nice to have, but that should not be the focus in life. Allow God to work in you so you can help Him touch the world and make a difference for eternity! Whatever you need to accomplish your God-given calling He will provide. For the present time, God may not answer your prayers exactly how you think He should, but in time His marvelous plan will unfold and give you more than you could ever ask, think or hope for! While waiting for His perfect will to be done in your life, remain content knowing you are His beautiful temple.
-Love, Joan
