CFMR changes
- Recently Eric (the Director of CFMR) and his family moved from Maryland to Pennsylvania to minister to the needs of their family members. God has truly been faithful to this ministry and we believe this move will also have a very positive impact on our vision for the ministry’s future. Our goal is to offer more retreats each year and to also strengthen the CFMR team by meeting on a regular basis to map out a strategic plan for the ministry’s future. The Lord has birthed a desire in the Board Members’ hearts to continue reaching out to God’s people in a greater way.
In addition, we will soon be publishing the financial records for you our supporters. We want you to be informed about incoming offerings and how the money is spent. Effective immediately, the address for mailing CFMR offerings is as follows:

2004 Women’s Retreat Report
- Wow, what a retreat! Twenty-one ladies gathered together the weekend of May 14th to honor our King. The theme was "Daughter of a King" and there’s no doubt the King showed up to meet with His daughters. God’s presence was so strong that many of the ladies walked away transformed by the power of God. A major part of that blessing came from a special guest, Sandy Hormillosa from Dallas, Texas. God has gifted Sandy with many spiritual blessings and we can’t thank God enough for bringing her our way. There is such a need for this type of ministering that we are prayerfully considering having another women’s retreat in the near future. Please keep that in your prayers as we seek the Lord for guidance.
Below we have included a testimony from Thelma Beall, from Kearneysville, West Virginia, who attended the women’s retreat. We hope her message blesses you!

Hello Everyone!! I first want to say Thank-You to CFMR!! I had the opportunity to be a part of the Women’s Retreat on May 14-16, this was my first retreat so I didn’t know what to expect. That experience has changed my life!! I met the most incredible women there and the fellowship together was awesome! Personally, I had the most incredible life changing experience. I have been delivered from things that I had been carrying for many years, and the Holy Spirit spoke to me and I was delivered from all that mess inside me, AMEN!! If I ever doubted the absence of the King before, I can surely tell you that after Saturday night, I am a Believer!! He restored me and my soul and I know that our guest Sandy (The Texas lady, haha) was sent to us from the Lord. She is one of the most incredible women I know. The Lord has used her to heal people both physically and emotionally and for that I will always have a heart filled with Gratitude.

I cannot say Thank-you enough for that incredible weekend. To Joan and Eric, you guys have followed the Lord’s direction for your lives and I want to thank you for bringing CFMR to reality!!! And to all the others who helped on this wonderful weekend, thank you. Your kindness and all the work you did was greatly appreciated. My hope is to be a part of every women’s retreat. I feel truly blessed to have been a part of this, and I will always be grateful to my Lord for allowing me to have that time.
To everyone, I love you all and I can’t wait to see you again!!
